January 30, 2014: Atlantic City, NJ – The next installment of partypoker and Hometown Heroes’ Restore the Shore poker tournament series hits the virtual felts at 7pm (ET) this Saturday at nj.partypoker.com.
Once again, the Texas Hold ‘Em tournament will carry a $20 ($10+$10) entry fee, $10 of which goes into the prize-pool and the other $10 donated directly to Hometown Heroes. partypoker will then also match each player’s $10 donation and donate it to Hometown Heroes, a 501(c)3 charity organization that helps people in a crisis.
The second of six tournaments will benefit Toms River/Ortley Beach, a town designated by Hometown Heroes as still in the great need of support more than year after Superstorm Sandy.
“Even though its cold in Jersey right now, its not too early to think about summer down the shore,” said team partypoker member and Monroe native Jamie Kerstetter. “Toms River, Ortley Beach and so many other shore towns still need support. The Restore the Shore tournament series is a great opportunity to play to give in order to support Hometown Heroes and the Jersey Shore.”
To register for the tournament go into the lobby of nj.artypoker.com and click on the tournaments tab.
Following this Saturday’s action, there will be four more tournaments benefitting Hometown Heroes and the following Jersey Shore towns still in need:
- March 1, 2014 – Brick
- April 5, 2014 – Union Beach
- May 3, 2014 – Ocean Gate
- June 7, 2014 – Lavallette
